Playground Fest is Stroud’s new festival of play aimed at children but inclusive of adults, with activities, workshops and entertainment spread across two days in two locations.  In partnership with Stroud Festival, who promote and support all types of artistic activities throughout the Stroud District.

Keep an eye on ‘Playground Fest’ on Facebook and Instagram for updates and additions to the programme.

Also visit John Street Gallery at SVA for the accompanying Playground Fest exhibition inspired by the art of play.

There are only a couple of ticketed events, but the majority of the festival is free and drop-in!

How to find Bank Gardens + St Laurence Church

Bank Gardens, The Shambles, Stroud, GL5 1AP.

You can access Bank Gardens from the bottom of Stroud High Street, or from the Shambles market area. You will find St Laurence Church between the Shambles market and Church Street Car Park. The closest parking is Church Street Car Park, however there are steps that lead down into the churchyard and Bank Gardens. Access from the bottom of Stroud High Street is paved and with no steps, and the closest parking is Merrywalks Car Park.

How to find the Goods Shed

The Goods Shed, Station Yard, Stroud. GL5 3AP.

The Goods Shed is in Stroud Train Station car park on the town centre side. As you face the train station follow the road round to the left through the car park, and you will see the Goods Shed in front of you on the right hand side.
